Go First Notice
According to a source, the customer care team is not picking up calls and is also unsure how much refund they would be able to provide to all the customers, due to which the travellers have almost had to pay more than double the price for their flight fares.
Go First Issues
Go First has been facing a severe finance crunch since it grounded over half of its fleet due to troubles with Pratt & Whitney engines. Go First has been running daily operations with 28 aircraft out of the aircraft’s 57 fleets.
Go First dues
Per its bankruptcy filing, the airline owes its financial creditors more than $700 million. Go First’s financial creditors include the Central Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, IDBI Bank, Axis Bank, and Deutsche Bank.
The bankrupt airline said it has not defaulted on any of these dues. “However, considering the present financial situation of the corporate applicant defaults to financial creditors would be imminent,” as per the current filing read.
